Backwards bus stops?
I’ve noticed several of the bus stop rest stations in/around Downtown and West Seattle face the sidewalk instead of the street. It genuinely feels like the station was installed backwards, but there’s so many of them it can’t be a mistake.
Does anyone know why some stations face backwards and others don’t? One suggestion I’ve heard is to prevent backsplash from curb water, but I still get splashed regardless. Some general digging brought up sidewalk widths having something to do with it.
