The kids were at the grandparents last night so my wife and I went to Umi for dinner. The sidewalks all along Pine and along 1st were crowded. It seemed like every retail shop had people inside. The bars and restaurants were full. Whole families seemed to be out enjoying the city. There was actually a line to get into Rob Roy, which I was a little annoyed by but also is probably a good sign for Belltown bars in general.
It was good to see, and frankly quite surprising for a holiday weekend (IMO).
