Beware of roofing scam going around…

So I was out at my mailbox earlier today and two men pulled up in a reddish truck talking about how they noticed my roof needed some work. The whole thing was sketchy, can’t remember what else they said but one of them had a thick irish accent.

I kinda felt like they were casing, since they asked if my parents were home (ummm I’m in my late 20’s), so I decided to look into it and apparently there’s some sort of irish crime ring ripping people off all over the US? This was in Lake City by the way.

Anyway, just thought I’d let people know/ curious if anyone else has been approached by them?
