All of the posts on this are archived but I wanted to share a few notes about my experience.
TL;DR I vended at Big Whale Consignment for about 3 months. I paid $93 a month to this shop to sell my items and they sold nothing.
They said they post our art monthly. That did not happen. My art was posted once.
I paid to ship it there on top of paying my first month’s rent. To get my items back, I’d have to pay for that too so I told them to get rid of it all. I received no response from the store once I told them I didn’t want to be a vendor anymore. Very convenient. So I had to cancel my monthly subscription/rent payment and never heard from them again.
I feel the appreciation soo much! You’re welcome for the $400!
Overall I’d suggest not to vend here. It is not worth the monthly fee at all. AT ALL. I wasted $400+ in total. Not including the inventory that I refused to pay for and ship back. I wish there was a post like this when I first applied.
Vend at your own risk. They don’t care about their vendors, they just want the money.
