Birthday Heartbreak Karaoke

My 39th birthday is coming up but I’m still feeling sad from a break up from awhile ago. I’ve decided I want to get together with strangers also in their feels about the same and sing about it.

Come to the crescent lounge on the evening and night of Thursday the 31st and sing your favorite sad, mad, and glad songs about your ex. Tell me your love story with an unhappy ending in person. Messy cry with me when particularly moved in semi public or come watch the train wreck. Maybe after we’ll go as a group to lost lake for pancakes. Open invite.

If it’s cool enough outside I’ll be dressed in leopard print overalls.

• We can make public playlists afterwards with songs people sang.
• If people want a duet partner, I can facilitate some kind of sign up list.
• No suggested dress code but if you want to be extra, come in depression-wear or rock your best emo outfit to really sell your evanescence solo.
