Hey all, I’ve got an old friend visiting the PNW for the first time and she’s staying in Bellevue. We can only do brunch on a Monday, so we need to stay pretty close to Bellevue and I’m out of my depth compared to the Seattle side.
I searched the sub and most of the brunch/breakfast threads are ~a year+ old. Has anything changed or any new standouts?
I’m looking for a nice sit-down, slightly upscale brunch with a solid, varied menu. Not a greasy spoon/diner, but also not “white tablecloth tasting menu” vibes.
Shortlist so far:
-Farine
-Brunchbar
-Eques
-Earl’s
Any thoughts on how these compare? Any I should skip or prioritize? Any other Monday brunch spots I’m missing?
(Also: I’m skipping Gilbert’s. The prices seem out of step for what it is, but tell me if I’m wrong.)
TIA!
