Car or no car in downtown?

Hi all,

I’m transferring from my Scranton, PA office to our Bellevue, WA office and was wondering if getting rid of my car is an option. The office itself is just outside central downtown, so I’d like to find a place walking distance. But how about getting groceries, etc.? Bellevue is way more expensive than where I currently live so dropping a car payment + insurance would help offset the high rent increase.

Curious of others’ experiences living without a car in downtown Bellevue or if I should just keep mine. Thanks!
