The total stretch from Pioneer Square to Pier 70 has been completely redone and its finally finished with the new bikeways on both the East and West side of Alaskan Way. What a massive makeover from the ugly highway 99 viaduct. Yes, it was very expensive, but it is multi-generational investment with great returns on the quality of life of our region. I arrived in downtown Seattle via 2 Line light rail over Lake Washington. Another expensive investment but with great economic returns for our region.
