Climbing Trees

Maybe a weird one. I grew up in an area with plenty of good trees to climb, and I miss it sometimes! I like rock climbing but don’t have the budget for a gym membership/equipment. I know the vast majority of trees here are douglas firs & western red cedars, not exactly conducive to climbing. Does anyone know of any parks or good spots with climbable trees? I would like to obey my monkey impulse from time to time, if possible. Otherwise, I’ll hold out for someday being able to afford climbing as a hobby. Thanks!
