Nearly every day I pass you on my drive home from work – walking northbound on the bridge, wrapped in each other’s arms. Sometimes your hand rests on his chest. Other times, you pause mid-bridge in an embrace, seemingly unfazed by the busy world rushing past.
I know nothing about you beyond those brief moments, but I can say this: you radiate love across the old steel grates of the bridge. A reminder for me to hold those I love a little closer.
Thank you, Ballard Bridge Lovers.
