Dog day care recommendations (and specific question about Lazy Dog Crazy Dog in Ballard).

I saw a few posts about this, but none that were recent, so here I am: What have your experiences been with Lazy Dog Crazy Dog in Ballard? (Yes – I saw the post from 2 years ago – hoping to get a more recent perspective). Our dog has gone there a few times – the staff has been great and she (the dog) is usually happy to go in (aside from one isolated incident where she tried to escape back to my husband – the one and only time in any day care). My concern: She smells like urine when we pick her up. Whether it’s one or five days, she reeks (but it’s much worse after boarding) Has anyone experienced this? She’s not a dog who likes to “muck” or roll around in pee, etc. and doesn’t smell after the other day cares we’ve used – Downtown Dog Lounge (SLU or Ballard). We would continue to take her to DDL, but like the idea of non-crated boarding – she’s a highly intelligent, social dog with separation anxiety, so the “suites” at daycare are tough for her (literally howls all night). Hoping to understand if this is something other owners have experienced – I also plan to ask LDCD the next time we’re there. Or – recommendations for other boarding services in/near Ballard/Fremont area that don’t crate/fully separate dogs at night.
