Last night, I made a post providing the community with the latest information around ICE deployment at the airport.

Many commenters asked how they could support TSA workers.
We are still collecting donations of non-perishable foods, household items, and gas gift cards at the SEA Conference Center located above Checkpoint 2 in the airport between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm.
Many have asked how they can contribute without having to go down to the airport. In response to this, we’ve set-up a GoFundMe page: https://gofund.me/e0b9966d2
Let me be clear, this is NOT a way to pay TSA agents with cash. The Port of Seattle will be using these funds to purchase non-perishable foods, household items, and gas cards.
Providing this support to TSA is crucial. This support helps TSA agents and their families make it through these challenging times.
SEA is currently at a 10% absentee rate, far below some other airports, which are at 40% or higher. The support we are providing is part of the reason why we have seen lower attrition rates.
Remember, they might work for the federal government; but these workers come from our community, they are our neighbors, our friends, and they live among us.
IF YOU DON’T WANT TO SEE ICE AT SEA, THIS IS PROBABLY THE SINGLE BEST WAY INDIVIDUALS CAN HELP PREVENT IT.
Every dollar counts.
