I’m overstaying my welcome after my lease is over and need funds to leave town. Abuser alienated me from support in Seattle and I’ve returned to clean out my apartment but have no funds to leave again for weeks. I’ve learned he knows I’m leaving and has escalated contact. Financially drained trying to start a new life away from him out of state.
I’ve tried local resources and DV hotlines but funds are dried up because of the holidays. No children, just myself, dog and a car. I have a safe place to land just need gas money to go. I work full time remotely and have never been stripped of my autonomy like this before.
Looking for any church assistance, foundations, resources I haven’t looked into yet. I need to be gone Friday. Happy to be vetted by appropriate services with police report and documentation.
