East Link Extension scheduled opening pushed back to April 25, 2026

According to Sound Transit’s latest System Expansion Monthly Status Report for June 2025 (source), it shows a change in the opening date for the full East Link Extension to April 25, 2026. They previously had published updates about a vague ‘early 2026’ and a potential January 16th opening date, although they are once pushing back the timeline.
