Hey y’all! My fiancé and I are planning to elope in Seattle while on vacation in early August. We know about the three day waiting period and will be going to pay for our application in-person at the courthouse the day we arrive and having the ceremony the last day of our trip (flight home isn’t until very late that night). We have several judges who are ready to officiate and just need some ideas on where to go as we are not very familiar with the area.
Outdoors and scenic is preferable but not having to pay an arm and a leg for the marriage permit is also a priority. Since we are flying out that night, we would like to stay as close to the city as possible. Unconventional and creative ideas welcome!
I would also love any tips or ideas to make the day as special as possible. If you eloped in Seattle, what was something you did that helped to make the day even more special? It’ll just be my fiancé and I, no friends or family.
