**Obligatory “I realize this is in Tacoma” disclaimer but it is a popular attraction for the whole Seattle metro**
I have been to casinos all over the East Coast, South US, Europe, and multiple Las Vegas including off strip casinos. NEVER have I ever felt unsafe in any casino whatsoever…. until I went to the Emerald Queen Casino.
Sketchy people coming up to your car window at the stoplight before the casino before you even get to the parking garage. Sketchy people actively casing the parking garage before you even get in the casino. Metal detectors to enter the casino then more sketchy people hanging by the elevator watching everyone who enters.
Had a visibly tweaked out guy sit down at the machine next to me while playing slots and ask “how much have you won tonight boss” – he then proceeded to follow me to the next 2 machines asking questions about how much money I had which I ignored. I had to go into the bathroom stall to lose him.
On my way out I had another guy follow me halfway to my car before pretending to stand by a car that obviously wasnt his. He stood there and watching me drive off. This was like a 1 hour visit total.
I know this comes off like Im some gated community HOA asshole but I have been to quite a few sketch places in my travels and Ive got a good spidey sense…
This was all at like 6-7pm btw…
Has EQC always been this sketch?
