Found cat!

We found a sweet boy sitting in front of our car tonight. No collar but came up and rubbed against us immediately. He didn’t seem to strike us as just a friendly outdoor cat as he seemed clean, well groomed and seemed skittish of loud cars and the neighborhood dogs being walked. He let us take him to the vet where they were able to confirm his name and that he is microchipped. We originally thought he was a girl due to a scar on his abdomen that I assumed was a spay incision. The vet was only able to share the cat’s name but no owner contact info that they were allowed to share. They sent a notification to the contact info on file but otherwise just made sure we could keep him for the night, grabbed our contact info and sent us on our way.

While I’m sure it’s just because it’s late at night, we surprisingly haven’t gotten a response back yet. He seems extremely at ease in our guest room and has made himself at home which only furthers my suspicion that he may have gotten out and has his people worried about him.
