My partner just got home in tears because of one of these piece of shit cops.
They were in the Capitol Hill Lightrail station, just waiting for the train when a cop got in their face screaming about how he had “seen them pissing in here before” and they were “a piece of shit” who thinks they can do anything they want.
They literally had to run away when the cop tried to physically grab them by the arm to keep yelling in their face.
Some important things to note, my partner hasn’t even been in Capitol Hill in probably 8 months. And they are visibly queer and gender-nonconforming, and with this BS department this is now the 3rd time something like this has happened to them in recent months.
They were to scared to try to read a badge or anything, so we can’t even report the guy. I have no idea how to comfort them or even any steps to take in the future. Its not like you can pepper spray a cop, or even do anything to protect yourself when they are twice your size
