I was checking out the Geekfest event in Lynnwood to try to determine if I wanted to attend, and discovered that they are offering free 30-day ORCA cards with purchase of a badge! This is a great deal for folks already using transit every day, and even if you don’t attend the event the badge pays for itself in ~12 rides on transit. You can buy a Friday or Sunday badge for $35.
Plus, if the event itself interests you, it looks like there’s a decent amount of stuff there to keep you busy if you’re into board games, tabletop RPGs, pinball, or other adjacent geeky hobbies. Hope this saves someone a bit of money 🙂
