Look at this map, all that forest area above Kelsey Creek…does anyone remember a little kid train ride run by an old man that you accessed at the end of SE 7th off 140th? It was all tucked into that forest area, which is actually a steep hill…I swear I remember seeing this as a little kid in the 80s. I dont think I rode it, but he had built trestles and tall bridges and everything- a real mini kid size train… There was no trail there then, it was just all completely wild forest… Or was this a fever dream??? We went to church with several families on that street but somehow I never was able to confirm if this was a real thing. I’d love to know if anyone else remembers this, as I’ve never found anything online except the small train at the Tiger Mtn. Zoo which is entirely different 🙂 submitted by /u/Mdmerafull |
