Presented in Reverse Chronilogical order. Errands turned into a full little saga today. On the way to REI we found a Lime scooter absolutely *mauled* on the sidewalk. Like, cartoonishly destroyed, so of course I made u/SeattleEmo pose next to it like one of my favorite memes. That’s kind of how I navigate things, honestly. I use memes as a shorthand when words don’t line up right, being Autistic means sometimes concepts are clear in my head but just…won’t come out. Memes make it easier. This was was “guy next to tombstone meme” but in Emo Seattlite Grunge font. Most of the walk back was uphill and it *took me out*: I was dizzy for a good chunk of it, but I still made it through. Did the obligatory 7-11 stop (non-negotiable), tried to link with friends and coordinate something for later, and then reality hit on the way back. Ended up taking the bus for the final stretch because my body was done. Still! Fresh air, weird little moments, and the 11 bus (my favorite) got me home. Worth it.
