Help me be awesome

TL/DR: I need suggestions of events for a Halloween 25th wedding anniversary.

This Halloween my wife and I will be married a quarter of a century. For our anniversaries we like to get a hot tub with a room attached and pick where it is based on events that may be taking place nearby. Problem is, nobody ever advertises Halloween events until what seems like a week before.

I usually leave the decision up to my wife because it seems like every time I choose something it’s wrong somehow. Last year I thought I had it. We have been looking to do something more ‘cultured’ and I found “Dracula the ballet” was happening in Bellevue. Sounded awesome to me, and she agreed. Then she went digging and found a community theater production of “Sweeney Todd” up in Anacortes and got us a cool little VRBO at like the lighthouse inn or something to that effect. It was awesome! The year before we went to a steampunk party in SODO with a room at whatever that hotel is with the walrus statues on the outside of the building. The year before that we literally just walked around exploring Seattle.

So here I am. We aren’t really too picky about how far we have to go as we enjoy driving. We live south of Bremerton and want to stay west of or in the cascades, but all the way to the coast is an option. North to south has no bounds except staying within the country. We can take 2-3days.

I feel like with Halloween being on Friday this year, the options should be exponentially better. So, what Halloween events are coming up? We want something super memorable for our 25th wedding anniversary. I’ve always wanted to do a dress up murder mystery, wife never likes the sound of it, BUT costume parties would be a big plus. Not corny haunted houses? (Tired of going and it winds up being put on by a church youth group telling me I’m gonna burn in hell.) Costume ball? Orchestral concert? Play? What do you got? I want to dazzle my wife’s brain.
