How do I get in contact with someone at south precinct SPD?

Last week I got in a car crash, someone ran through a red light and smashed into me. Cops were on scene instantly, Officer Reynolds (#7585) was the one who gave me my case number and stuff. They wouldn’t let me talk to the woman who hit me, I think they were concerned she was under the influence or something. I specifically asked Officer Reynolds if I should talk to the woman to get her information and insurance, and he said no, no worries it will all be in the report. Little did i know, SPD is so backed up they are saying I won’t get my report until 1/15/2026. Can anyone give me any advice on what to do? I know I am stupid and should have just talked to the woman and gotten her information. My insurance can’t move forward without her insurance. Someone help please. There was also a Transit Sherriff Officer on site who helped out because it was right next to the columbia city station, he got her info also, but the Transit Sheriff is no help either. They don’t have a report under my name.
