I wanted to share this local passion project I’ve been working on with you all: SeattleBarDeals.com. It’s a website collecting the best deals in Seattle that started off as a shared iPhone note in my friend group for tracking happy hours. There’s a searchable map page where you can see all the deals around you, and filter on food/drink/entertainment/today’s deals: There’s also a form where you can add new deals, so the site will get updated as those come in. The long-term vision is to create a self-sustaining way for people to find and share deals, suggest revisions, and vote so the best stuff flows to the top. As someone who’s frugal but also loves going out / checking out new stuff, this feels like the thing I wish existed when I moved here in 2018. This isn’t currently a business (I have a day job and this makes no money). It’s just a cool resource that I’d love to see take off and have other people get value out of too. If anyone has good deals to share, or feature ideas to improve this, feel free to use the deals submission form or comment here!
