Is there anything more “little accomplishment but maybe sense of victory” than being the last car on a ferry?
Last night, my partner and I were coming back from Bainbridge Island. Judging by the schedule, we would probably miss the 9:45 and would wait for the 10:30. We show up at 9:50 and they were just finishing boarding. They waved us on board and took off. Bliss.
