I hope everyone in the Seattle area has air filters ready

trying to make this post for hours but Reddit keeps glitching out, if it happens again this time I give up

1. I hope everyone in Seattle and the rest of western Wa has air filters ready. AQI readings of 1,000+ near Wenatchee are horrifying, and the north eastern winds are bringing smoke from these fires and fires in BC towards Seattle right now (this purple air map shows the AQI worsening farther and farther west by the hour). Seattle is expected to have worsening air quality later today thru Thursday.

2. was originally going to make the first point about the statewide emergency in Spokane and eastern Wa, but seeing as how it’s been making international news for multiple days and there’s a thread already dedicated to that on this sub, I’ll just ask this: is there an established way we (average Washington citizens) can help the 65,000+ (and growing) evacuated in Spokane and others who have had their homes destroyed by these unprecedented wildfires in eastern Wa?
