I’ve been looking at some neighborhoods around Seattle to host a Lime Scooter Jousting with Pickle Ball Rackets meetup, and it looks like Magnolia, West Seattle, and Phinney Ridge would be perfect. The residents in those areas are open minded and love public transit, so I think it would be win/win.
Secondly, pre-qualifying arena matches would be held exclusively on Rapid Ride buses, with tryouts taking place on both the E Line, for those who live up North, and the H Line, for those who live down south. I haven’t talked to King County Metro yet, but they probably wouldn’t mind.
I’m hoping to get Circuit City, Borders, and Joann Fabrics to sponsor, so if all of this comes to fruition, it be an iconic event in Seattle and beyond, especially in upscale suburban backyards.
