I’m leaving Seattle

I moved here in 2008, and it was legitimately the best decision of my life. I met amazing people, embraced the incredible culture where I felt, for the first time in my life, I could actually fit. Strange, I know, given the notorious “Seattle Freeze”. I’ve seen it, of course, and I know how it happens.

Yet through all of that I just found such an incredible community here to love, was loved in turn. I was lucky.

I found the love of my life, with whom I’m continuing our journey as we make our move to Norway.

It’s bittersweet. I’m excited about what’s to come, and I’m heartbroken about leaving this beautiful place behind.
