Hi! Wondering if anyone has suggestions for in-person classes or tutors for Japanese language, that is Seattle-based?
I know about JCCCW and City U; they only do ZOOM classes. The community colleges (I attend Seattle Central) only have classes that go as far as my 9th or 10th grade high school Japanese classes. I haven’t formally studied it in around a decade, though I use it semi-regularly to communicate with people online, and I’m really hoping to get back into some form of directed and structured class/lesson-plan to improve speaking skills and refresh my vocabulary, before a trip to Japan in 2026.
But I am also mildly Hard of Hearing so ZOOM is difficult! And websites advertising private tutors I’ve found don’t make it easy to sort out by city or whether someone is online-only.
Any leads are super appreciated, thank you!
