I moved back to Seattle after graduating a year early, and want to find community with other artists my age (21). My family moved to Seattle when I started college, so I never had a chance to make friends since I would only come back during school break. I was a neuroscience major and only realized it wasn’t for me in my final year, and I felt like I missed a big opportunity since my friends who were art majors were always surrounded by peers with similar interests and goals.
I live very close to the Cornish College of the Arts, and I was wondering how viable/weird it is to seek out connections with the students there? It feels like my best bet to find those of similar ages, which is important to me because I want to relate to people with a similar life experience level. Or are there other ways to do this? Please help augh
