I’ve had it with ghost kitchens

I treated myself to food delivery tonight after a long day at work and I was very excited to eat. I ordered some chicken parms from a place called “Pasta Glory” on UberEats because they had a BOGO deal. Food arrives on time and the driver was awesome. I go to dig in and the pasta is cold and the chicken is TOTALLY RAW!! I brought it up with Uber support who offered a meager $11 refund for my $50 of food (not enough to cover even the one chicken parm I paid for) and I’m thinking, “well I need to leave a review to warn others”. Turns out, the place doesn’t exist on Google maps. At all. It was a ghost kitchen. I’ve had so many bad experiences with them in the past I try to avoid them but they are just EVERYWHERE here in Seattle! So many cases of incorrect orders, cold or raw food, and just terrible meals. How is this such a common thing here?

Edit: I realize I should have checked google. The only reason I ordered food was because I was feeling lazy and tired after work. It was my own fault I ordered from a ghost kitchen, but any commercial kitchen serving not one, but two dishes of undercooked poultry is insanity.
