Mostly seats that weren’t designed for consumption afflicted waifs of the early white-settlement era. I am not a small man but I’m small enough to buy clothes at the regular-people store. So, color me shocked when I had to empty my pockets to stuff myself into my balcony seat. And even then, my shins were pressed into the wooden knife edge of the seat back in front of me. Many smaller folk than I had the same problem. I can only speak for the balcony experience but I’d say if you’re over 6′, regardless of width, you will be uncomfortable. Luckily, a large and sympathetic security guard let me sit on the steps next to my aisle seat and I was set. I really can’t say enough about how amazing the venue staff were in hearing the plight of the large folk. They couldn’t do much about it but they were very understanding with me and everyone else I heard speak to them about it. None of this detracted at all from the show, which was incredible. Cheaper and objectively more entertaining than Christmas Carol or Nutcracker as Seattle holiday traditions go. Drag is for everyone but I wouldn’t recommend this one for kids because Jinx has a mouth filthier than a dive bar floor. But then again, I’m not your kids’ mom so, do you 😘
