Landlord moved in and now wants me to move out

So the first mistake I made was letting my landlord move into the place I am renting. He told me he was going thru a divorce and he needed the place and he asked me to move out. Thinking I was doing him a favor, and because there were two open rooms, I suggested he just move in and we see how it goes.

Immediately when he moved in it became clear that it was his territory now. He set up his workstation in the living room and started moving my stuff around. He’s asked me to not keep anything in the common areas I pay rent for and he won’t consider decreasing my rent as a trade off. It feels like his end goal is to make me so uncomfortable I move out and it has gotten to the point where I have everything in writing because he makes up stuff now and claims I break rules that are not in the lease.

He has now offered me $1000 to move out by December but it feels like another time where he’s trying to get one over me. I read somewhere that if a landlord in Seattle wants to end your lease early they need to pay you the difference in rent for the remainder of that lease. Is that true?

I have a place to move to by then but I don’t want to give notice until I have a better understanding of the law. Anyone have insight?
