Learning Brazilian Portuguese

hello! a friend and i (22f and 23f, both queer) are starting to learn brazilian portuguese (we are technically level 0 but have all the interest in the world to learn the language!) and are hoping to make some friends around our age who would be open to practicing with us. we are very new beginners and are looking for something friendly, low pressure, and fun where we can hang and build confidence speaking. we’ve been watching youtube videos and using books and audiobooks, which has been helpful, but we really want real conversational practice, and to learn slang and how to communicate with people our age. we’d love to learn casual speech, accents, and how people actually talk. ideally we’re hoping to make a genuine friend who can help us learn while also just being a bestie! we want to hang out, have fun, and practice speaking together without judgment. we like playing video games and cooking, and we’re always down to host and make dinner and dessert while we practice. if you’re patient, friendly, and interested in language exchange, we’d love to connect!
