Light rail etiquette

It seems silly that this should even need to be said, but I witness it all the damn time, so maybe people need a lesson. If you’re riding the light rail, especially during peak periods when it’s crowded, MOVE AWAY FROM THE DOORS when the train is stopped and allow for riders to get on and off. Have some fucking consideration and don’t make people maneuver around you while you just stand there like an idiot with your face buried in your phone. That is douchebag behavior in and of itself, but furthermore, if you are going to engage in said activity, then you have absolutely no grounds for getting upset when people call you out on it and tell you to move your ass out of the way so that people with luggage can exit at their stop.

Anyway, rant over. Just be nice. It’s better for everyone.
