Loose Dog in U-District

There was a dog loose running around near Mercer Court. It was a large tan colored dog with white on its chest. It did not have a collar and I don’t know if it was male or female. It seemed somewhat skittish when I tried to approach it. It ran down the Burke-Gilman trail for a bit before running up to M 40th St. That was when I lost track of it. A biker told me he thought he saw it go up 8th Ave, but I didn’t see it when I went up that way.
