Loser with creeping finger on the H line

Twice now, a man has sat next to me (30s/F) on a bench seat on the southbound H line leaving downtown, and surreptitiously used his pinky finger to touch my thigh.

The first time this happened a few months ago, I second guessed my perception and just tried to slide away as far as possible, despite giving up a third of my seat. He persisted, I was freaked out, making excuses up in my head for him, and didn’t have the energy or confidence for a confrontation, so I got up and stood by the door until my stop. I didn’t see his face.

Tonight, around 5PM, a man got on at 3rd and Seneca and sat between myself and another male passenger on one of the bench seats in the back. I soon felt something touching my leg under my backpack that was on my lap. I check and sure enough, this dingus was back and pulling the same bullshit, so this time, I shoved my bag hard onto his hand and against the pole between us, and angled my leg away. He got off at Alaskan and Jackson before the bus left downtown. I tried to see his face but he kept it turned away from me.

Notably, he was not touching the large man seated on the other side of him, so this clearly isn’t about trying to assert space on a crowded bus or whatever other excuse I tried to make up for him the first time this happened.

I couldn’t get a photo but, from his profile, he looked to be a late 20s-mid 30s slim, white, completely unremarkable man, about average height (5’9ish?). Tonight, he was wearing a burnt orange beanie and dark blue/gray puffy jacket. He smelled like he was sweating booze.

Anyone else have interactions that sound like this soggy dimwit?

I’m not happy that I didn’t do more this second time. I owed it to myself and other women to give him a real consequence, so I’m sorry.
