Medical Assistant license being held hostage at WA DOH: Four. Damn. Months!!!

I submitted my full, complete MA license application to WA DOH in mid-May, along with the transcript and letter from the Program Director for my 9-month MA program at a community college. I also included my score on the NHA national exam, which I passed.

Today, they’re still silent about when it will be processed. I’ve called and emailed at least five times. Every time, I received the same response: “Your application is in final review, and we don’t need anything else from you.”

Does anyone know what’s going on at WA DOH? On 9/25, their page (https://doh.wa.gov/licenses-permits-and-certificates) moved MA processing from June 11 to July 2, but my classmates and I are still stuck at “Pending.”

What the actual f***, WA DOH?
