I will be moving in a few months and wanted to share the spreadsheet where I’m compiling all my research on apartments.
Web Link. In case comments are cutoff here’s the CSV.
I’m using HotPads. The filters I used and general comments.
- $1000-$2300
- Lowest on list is $1700. Started to look above that price as well, so included those.
- Greater than 400 sqft
- Studio-1br.
- Requires photo & price
- Do not include restricted housing.
- Commute time listed is walking time to the Symphony Light Rail Station.
- Between 3rd Ave & Broadway
- Only included in spreadsheet listings that appealed to me.
- Excluded a lot of listings where the building looked old and not well kept, which is why there isn’t a unit listed under $1700.
- I was not diligent on my own comments. Some places I listed as having a balcony, but if it’s excluded it doesn’t necessarily mean it doesn’t have it, I just didn’t remember to note that.
- Most of these are either the cheapest, or one of the cheapest unit currently listed.
Apartment hunting is a pain in the ass, hopefully this can help someone out. I will be updating this until I sign a lease in March-April.
