Navigating life in Seattle with a wheelchair

Hi,

My younger brother (25) recently moved in with me and my kiddos. He uses a walker around the house, a scooter around town, and a smidge of cane walking here and there. I’m hoping to find regular people and resources to help us both learn the ins and outs of independent living and doing stuff in Seattle. I’m frustrated on his behalf that this city isn’t terribly accessible, and some days I’m ready to start pouring concrete myself. I’d love to hear from people that know first hand and have crafted creative ways to live an active 20 something life with wheels. Lists of ada clubs very welcome, especially for pride weekend.
