Never been to Seattle, want to visit

I recently moved back in with my parents in upstate NY after living in NYC for 4 years and quickly remembered why I wanted to move out of my parents in the first place. They’re fine. It’s just that I’m sick of my old life. I’m not saying I’m going up and move to Seattle, because I’ve never been. I’m definitely romanticizing the city in my head. I’d like to know how y’all feel about it. I feel like I would like it. I feel like the rain wouldn’t get to me too bad. I am definitely thinking way too far ahead, but I do that. I just want to get an idea of the place from ppl who live there. I plan to visit relatively soon.
