This was posted on the Redmond subreddit thus the wording: Hello. First let me say I realize the address is Bellevue but it sits basically on the Bellevue Redmond border. It also is at the terminus of Bel-Red Rd. I’m really just wanting to support a new neighborhood restaurant that has amazing food. Literally this place opened a few days ago. It’s in an old house that used to be a pescatarian thai restaurant. That is now gone and replaced by Bento House. I am literally typing this after getting 34 of my togo meal finished. The food is so amazing I just had to share. It’s at 15045 NE Bel Red Rd, Bellevue, WA 98007. The order shown (I did snack a oyster and a bite of the squid salad before the pictures) is #18 Oyster Bento and appetizer #10 the softshell crab. I’d never had softshell crab before so I’ve always wanted to try it. Now I get the hype and have quite probably started a new addiction! The oysters in the bento were perfectly deep fried and the side of curry sauce had just the right amount of heat. This coming from someone who doesn’t particularly like spicy foods. The squid salad was equally delicious and uber fresh. As for the rest I’m staring at it until I finish this post. I arrived at the restaurant at about 2pm and it was empty. This didn’t concern me as its only been open a few days. The lady who helped me was very attentive and answered any questions I had. Now I want to shine a light on this great new restaurant. I hate sharing this little gem but we all must make sacrifices! Please consider patronizing this restaurant, t truly is worth it! Also please pass this suggestion onto others.
