(No Kings Event) March with us across the Lacey V. Murrow bridge!

Hi all, hope life is good on your side of the screen.

I know everybody’s hella busy these days so I’ll try to keep this post short and sweet.

If you’re looking for a special event to join this Saturday for No Kings, consider checking out the upcoming walk across the Lacey V. Murrow floating bridge from 2 to 4pm!

Why you should come:

• It’s a ~3 mile round trip, very level most of the way (great for kids & families)
• Tables will be set up at the entrance with water and flags!
• Safety monitors and medics are on site to help out as needed
• It’s a really special view of the city 🌊

The event starts at Aubrey Davis Lid Park on Mercer Island (lots of parking), and will run for two hours. All are welcome to join, but we ask that you please don’t bring your pets; they can hang out at the park, but the bridge itself will have lots of footfall.

Also, I just want to say: the organizers are really wonderful people. I’ve been lucky enough to join them making whistle kits, writing post cards to unregistered voters, etc., and they’re out there week after week doing good work.

• Goes from 2:00-4:00pm, walk the bridge, have a great time!
• No registration required (but helps with headcount for water)
