Honestly, this is a much bigger story than just a new restaurant announcement.
Yesterday, May 27, 2026, Nobu Hospitality officially announced its arrival in downtown Bellevue with Nobu Residences Bellevue and a 10,000-square-foot Nobu restaurant opening in 2027.
What makes this especially important is that Bellevue was selected ahead of markets like Miami and Orlando for Nobu’s first residential project in the United States, along with the Pacific Northwest’s first Nobu restaurant.
For Eastside property owners, this says a lot about where the Bellevue market is heading.
Global luxury brands do not make long-term investments like this accidentally. They look for wealth growth, business expansion, lifestyle demand, international visibility, and long-term confidence in a market before committing at this level.
This does not necessarily change how you manage your rental property tomorrow. But it absolutely says something about the long-term trajectory, reputation, and economic positioning of the Eastside market many owners are already invested in.
