Non-traditional places to get an engagement ring?

Hello! I’m planning on proposing to my partner in August. She’s out of town for work this weekend which gives me the perfect opportunity to get a ring without her catching. Thing is, she has a very cool and particular style when it comes to jewelry. What shops around town would possibly have some non-traditional, but still nice, options for rings? I’m looking for things like alternative or uncommon stones and bands, handmade details, any other unique elements etc. If it’s a local designer that’s even better. I’d really like to avoid going to a Ben Bridge or the like if able. Thanks!
