I am going to be in Seattle end of next week (not over the weekend) and am hoping to get a swim in one morning. We are going to be staying in Ballard. I am wondering what people recommend for open water swimming? I saw that Magnuson swim beach is closed. I have a lot of open water swimming experience, I’ve done a 10k and am very comfortable in open water so not looking for advice on safety etc, I have a buoy. But more looking for best spots and any specific regulations for lake Washington or other areas. Do people swim in Green lake? I noticed it looks like it’s already pretty warm. Thanks for any recommendations you can give!
Edit: when I say swimming, I mean legitimate swimming, not splashing around and playing, not diving, not cold plunging, but actual swimming.
