Petition to prevent this awful eyesore

There were rumors that these abandoned shops were going to be turned into a park expansion but of course capitalism always wins and they’re building a giant eyesore of a high rise apartment building here instead. What can we do to prevent this? Look at the massive shadow it’s going to cast on the park wtf
