Possible Fake Cell Tower/Stingray in Ballard

Just wanted to pass it along so people can be vigilant that there might be some nefarious people skimming phone info or people’s locations

My phone starting blowing up with this notification about a device recording my phone ID/location multiple times while in the general vicinity of the downtown area of Ballard.

I don’t think this my normal provider’s activity because I’ve never seen this before and it was popping up a lot. I even toggled airplane mode and power cycled a few times and it kept coming up until I decided to keep it on airplane mode till I left the area.
