Puget Sound Losar?

Hi! I’m a Tibetan who just moved from out of state to the Seattle area and have absolutely no family up here so Losar will be a bit lonely this year. I really want to go to at least one event but unfortunately the only one I found is on the morning of a Friday and I have very important work meeting at that time that I can’t move or cancel.

Back home in California we typically celebrate for multiple days with each day having a different type of celebration (prayer, pot luck, disco). Based on my googling that might not be the same up here? If anyone knows other events I can go to I would love to know!
