tl;dr – r/Seattle Meetup – Gas Works Park – 6/13/26 @ 3pm

Come outside, touch some grass, and hang out in the sun (hopefully) with the people you argue chat with online. Bring your friends, your pets, some food and drinks, and stand around awkwardly looking at your phones. Or talk to each other, you do you.

We’ll be meeting up after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 13th, at Gas Works Park.

RSVP is not mandatory but helps us plan for crowd size and who’s bringing what – we just need a general idea of how many people are bringing the same veggie tray.

At the park we will have a ✨BRAND NEW banner✨, but generally just look for a bunch of nerds wearing nametags gathered around food and animals.

• Why: It’s nice to go outside sometimes!
• What you should bring:
  • Food & Beverages (sharing is appreciated but not required)
  • Blankets / Chairs – we do have a shelter reserved and a couple tables, but some folks like to sit on the grass
  • Friends, pets, friends’ pets. Leash your pets, you heathens

  • Sound amplification (small bluetooth speakers are probably fine)

  • Nametags will be provided so you can forget each others’ names.
  • Seattle parks and rec states “no alcohol, no cannabis”. We are not personally going to enforce these rules; you are responsible for yourselves.
  • This is Seattle. Weather is always a gamble, please check the forecast
  • We will have some food and drinks to share, but encourage you to bring your own as well.
  • We should have a grill available (of some fashion) if you want to cook
